Commercial law is a sub-branch of the law that includes all legislation related to trade. It regulates commercial relations between businesses, merchants, individuals, exchanges and the rights of the parties.
Provisions in our country are mainly gathered in the Commercial Code (Law No. 6102 in 2011). In addition, the Capital Market Law, Bank Cards and Credit Cards Law are among the commercial law laws.
General concepts of commercial law are defined under the titles of merchant, commercial enterprise, trade registry, trade name, unfair competition, commercial books, current account, commercial affairs brokerage, agency, trade partnerships.
Trade partnerships are collective, limited partnership, joint stock, limited, cooperative partnerships. The law regarding documents is collected under the title of valuable documents. The form of regulation is registered and bearer. Politics, bonds, checks, commodity bills and transport bills are negotiable documents.
Maritime trade law, insurance law (except social insurance) are other commercial law issues.
